Technical Notes:

As auto enthusiasts, we understand the importance cars and parts that can be seen, felt, experienced or heard. We knew that we had to develop an exhaust system upgrade that lets the 5th Gen Acura Integra feel and sound like the fun, sporty car it is.

The PRL Motorsports N1 Exhaust system features a single-exit design and is constructed from 16 gauge (.065") 3.00" 304 stainless steel with smooth, mandrel bent transitions for optimal flow. This single-exit design keeps weight and cost down, while increasing performance. Each system features one resonator and one muffler, both high quality and densely packed. Our engineers carefully calculated tubing length, bends, location of components and muffler/resonator specifications ensure this exhaust sounds as aggressive as it looks while eliminating the nasty drone most aftermarket exhaust systems tend to have.

Aside from the 3-bolt front-pipe flange, all connections are slip-fit connections for adjustment and packaging purposes. We elected to use a muffler clamp / exhaust hanger to support the muffler instead of welding on a hanger for longevity, adjustment and serviceability. All components are TIG welded and fully back-purged to withstand exhaust gas temperatures and outside elements. Pair this with our 3" Front Pipe Upgrade for maximum exhaust flow and performance! All kits will include premium hardware, components and gasket for seamless installation.
