Why it matters

Magnesium chloride is the most bioavailable form of magnesium for absorption through the skin — and most of us aren't getting enough of it. A warm bath lets it absorb gently and evenly, without the tingling that can come with magnesium sprays or oils. The Zechstein and Dead Sea sources used here are chosen for their purity and mineral richness. And every other ingredient — the rose petals, the lavender oil, the Himalayan salt — earns its place in the blend for what it brings to the body and the senses.

How to use

Add your salts to a warm bath and soak for at least 20 minutes. Use the cotton teabag to keep the petals contained, or let them float freely — both work beautifully. For a foot soak, use a smaller amount in a bowl of warm water.

Why these salts — and not just any magnesium?

Not all magnesium is equal. The magnesium chloride in these salts is sourced from the ancient Zechstein seabed — one of the purest sources in the world, formed over 250 million years and untouched by modern pollution — and the Dead Sea, long used for its exceptional mineral content. Magnesium chloride absorbs more readily through the skin than other forms including that found in Epsom Salts, making a warm bath one of the gentlest and most effective ways to restore your levels.

The rose petals and organic lavender essential oil aren't decoration. Rose has long been associated with the heart, with softening and with gentle emotional support, whilst Lavender brings calm to the nervous system through scent. Together they make this a soak that works on more than one level.
