Castor Oil ~ Organic, cold-pressed & hexane-free ~ 250ml
Price range: £14.50 through £22.50
Organic Cold-Pressed Castor Oil · 250ml · Hexane-Free · Amber Glass
Pure. Organic. Nothing else.
This is castor oil as it should be — cold-pressed, hexane-free, and stored in amber glass to protect the oil and keep it completely free from plastic contact. No fillers, no additives, no shortcuts. Just pure, organic Ricinus communis seed oil, ready to use.
Whether you’re beginning a castor oil practice or restocking a routine that’s already part of your life, this is the oil we reach for — and the one we use in all our Her Wild Organics products.
Why it matters
Castor oil penetrates deeply into the tissues, which means the quality of what you use matters enormously. Cold-pressed extraction preserves the oil's natural integrity. Hexane-free means no chemical solvents have been used in processing. And amber glass means nothing from the packaging reaches the oil — because plastic and castor oil are not a combination we're willing to make.
If you're pairing this oil with a castor oil wrap or pack, we also recommend using organic, undyed and unbleached cotton — for exactly the same reason.

Why this oil?
Not all castor oil is equal. Cold-pressing preserves the ricinoleic acid content that makes castor oil therapeutically valuable. Hexane-free processing means no residual chemical solvents. And amber glass protects the oil from light degradation while ensuring nothing leaches in from plastic storage.
This is the oil we use in our own balms and recommend alongside every wrap we make — because a practice is only as good as the ingredients at its heart.
