Why it matters

Castor oil penetrates deeply into the tissues, so everything it touches needs to be free from dyes, chemicals and plastics. Both wraps in this set are made from organic, undyed and unbleached cotton throughout — so nothing unwanted enters your treatment, whatever area you're working with. For the same reason, we recommend pairing with organic, cold-pressed, hexane-free castor oil in amber glass.

Both wraps are shaped to fit their target areas, with soft ties for a secure, comfortable fit — suitable for daytime or overnight use. As there is no waterproofing layer (keeping both wraps entirely plastic-free), we find it works best to apply the oil directly to your skin and place the wrap over the top.

Why use this set?

A castor oil wrap maximises contact between the oil and your skin, making your practice more effective and more practical — holding everything securely in place so you can carry on with your day, work from home, or use it overnight while you sleep. Having both wraps together means you can focus on more than one area without having to choose.

The abdominal wrap is sized to work across the upper abdomen for liver and digestive support, the lower abdomen for pelvic and reproductive care, and across the back for muscular tension. The neck wrap is sized for the neck and thyroid, and works equally well on knees, ankles, wrists and other smaller joints where a full abdominal wrap would be too large.

The layered organic cotton construction on both wraps keeps things mess-free and protects your clothing and furniture, while being soft enough to wear comfortably against the skin for extended periods.

Care

Both wraps are fully washable, reusable, and made to last. For cleaning, soak in bicarbonate of soda and hot water for 20 minutes. Rinse with non-toxic soap and air dry.

Please note

• We recommend a patch test before use, as although rare, allergic responses to castor oil are possible
• Castor oil can stain — use old clothing and protect furniture and bedding during use
• Avoid during pregnancy, breastfeeding, or after ovulation if trying to conceive
• Do not use on open wounds, irritated or broken skin
• Take care with additional heat over scar tissue, where there may be reduced sensation
• Castor oil may increase blood flow — use with care during menstruation if you experience heavier bleeds
