Your Castor Oil Neck Wrap provides you with everything you need to do a premium quality, organic and toxin-free castor oil neck & thyroid treatment at home. It includes :-

Using undyed, unbleached and organic materials matters because Castor oil penetrates deeply in to the tissues so we want everything it comes in to contact with to be super toxin-free.
Only the purest ingredients to prevent any chemicals from being leached in to your treatment. For this reason, it’s also important to use organic, cold-pressed, hexane-free castor oil stored in an amber glass bottle, to prevent contact from plastics.
PLEASE NOTE: In order to keep the packs free-from plastics and vinyls, there is no waterproofing layer added to these wraps. The insert is included to provide layers of fabric to help minimise the chance of castor oil leaking through to the upper / outer layer. Although it is fine to apply the oil directly to the cloth, we find with these wraps it can work best to apply the castor oil to your skin and apply the insert and wrap over this.
WHY USE A WRAP?
The wrap helps to improve the efficacy of the castor oil treatment by maximising contact between your skin and the oil, and also means it is possible to do a neck or thyroid treatment whilst moving around, working from home, or at night.
The wrap is designed and shaped to fit snugly around the neck, with straps which that tie at the back, meaning it can be adjusted to hold securely in place, without being too tight or restrictive.
The materials used are not only safe and free from toxins, but also super soft to ensure they are comfortable to be worn against the skin for long periods of time.

The sets are also sustainable, washable and reusable ensuring both better hygiene for your treatments as well as a more environmentally-friendly and longer-lasting product. The organic cotton flannel insert can be easily washed and re-used, and the wrap itself is also washable.

WHAT ARE CASTOR OIL TREATMENTS HELPFUL FOR?
Castor oil has been used traditionally for centuries. There is anecdotal evidence that using castor oil on the thyroid area may help to support thyroid function naturally and improve blood and lymphatic circulation.
Castor oil is derived from the seeds of the Castor plant (Ricinus communis), also known as Palma Christi, and is traditionally used to stimulate the Lymphatic & Circulatory Systems.
The lymphatic system provides each cell in the body a means to get rid of waste. The lymphatic system relies on movement and manipulation to function, as it doesn’t have a “pump” in the same way as the circulatory system has the heart. Castor oil packs are one way to stimulate movement of lymph.
Castor oil packs help to support the circulatory system bringing in fresh oxygenated, nutrient rich blood, supporting optimal function and healing, and helping to reduce congestion.

Using only Organic Castor Oil Liquid (cold-pressed and hexane-free) and organic, undyed and unbleached cotton fabrics ensures high standard, toxin-free ingredients for your treatment pack.
The Castor Oil liquid and Balm are packaged in amber glass containers to ensure no toxins are leached in to the oil from plastics.
The Organic Castor Oil Balm, made with 87% organic cold-pressed castor oil, natural Beeswax and Vitamin E, provides equally high standard, toxin-free ingredients in a semi-solid alternative form to the liquid oil. This can be rubbed in to the neck and the wrap applied over the top. The warmth of your hands as you massage it in, helps absorb the castor oil (or a heat pack can also be applied).
The Balm can be especially helpful when there isn't time to do a full castor oil pack with the liquid, or at any time you prefer a simple-to-apply alternative to the liquid.

Please note, it is always advisable to use caution or wear old clothes when using packs as the castor oil can stain fabrics and clothing.

Scented balms include Lavandula Angustifolia (Lavender) Oil with naturally occurring Linalool or Boswellia Serrata (Frankincense) Oil with naturally Alpha-Pinene, Limonene, 3-Carene, p-Cymene.
