Every layer of fabric used in the pack is organic, free from harmful chemicals, pesticides, and synthetic additives, offering a pure and ultra-soft touch, perfect for sensitive skin.

Also hand-crafted in the UK from GOTS certified organic cotton, the neck wrap includes two organic cotton flannel inserts, designed as the perfect size for neck & thyroid treatments, and has also been used as a smaller pack for painful joints.

Having the wraps as a set gives you the option of flexibly treating multiple body areas, The larger body wrap measures 51 x 27cm (with 95cm straps on each side), perfect for using across your upper abdomen for liver support and digestive issues, and lower abdominal areas for pelvic and reproductive system support. This wrap is also great for back and shoulder issues, with soft cotton straps to hold the wraps securely in place.
The smaller wrap measures 20 x 9cm with 40cm straps, perfect for supporting neck and thyroid issues, and can also be used very comfortably for areas on the arm, leg, ankle or wrist, ideal for painful or inflamed joints.

The Balm can be used as an alternative to the liquid as part of a full castor oil pack, or by itself without the pack. The benefit of the balm is that as a semi-solid it is easily rubbed in making it a siimple-to-apply alternative to the liquid. This can be particularly helpful for for areas like knees and other joints or at times when you don’t have time for a full treatment pack with the liquid oil.

PLEASE NOTE: In order to keep the packs free-from plastics and vinyls, there is no waterproofing layer added to these wraps. The extra inserts are included to provide a multi-layered organic cotton construction to absorb excess oil, reducing mess and making the experience more comfortable and practical for daily or overnight use. We find with these wraps it can work best to apply the castor oil directly to your skin and apply the wrap over this.
CARE DETAILS
We recommend soaking your wrap and inserts in a solution of baking soda and hot water, for at least 20 minutes before rinsing it out thoroughly with non-toxic soap and allowing it to air dry.
IMPORTANT NOTES
Please note, it is advisable to carry out a patch test, as although rare, it is possible to have an allergic reaction to castor oil.
Castor oil can stain fabrics and clothing, therefore it is always advisable to use caution or wear old clothes when using packs, or to place an old towel over furniture or your bed.
Do not use castor oil packs if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, or after ovulation if you are trying to conceive.
Don’t use on open wounds or irritated skin such as rashes or cuts
Take care when using packs with additional heat sources over scar tissue, as there can sometimes be numbness in these areas.
Castor oil can increase blood flow so use caution if using during your period, especially if you tend to have heavier period bleeds.
